Introduction


This is an arduino compatible dissolved oxygen sensor, which is used to measure the dissolved oxygen content in water and reflect the water quality. It can be applied to water quality testing in aquaculture, environmental testing, natural science and other fields.


As the saying goes, "Fish culture first raises water, and good water raises good fish." Good water quality is very important to aquatic life. Dissolved Oxygen is one of the important parameters for reflecting the quality of water. Once the dissolved oxygen value in the water is too low, it will cause aquatic organisms to breathe hard and threaten their survival.


We have introduced an arduino-compatible dissolved oxygen sensor for measuring the dissolved oxygen content in water and reflecting the water quality. It can be used for water quality testing in aquaculture, environmental testing, natural science and other fields. This product is simple and easy to use, so DIY a set of dissolved oxygen detector is no longer a difficult threshold.


The dissolved oxygen electrode of this product is a galvanic electrode, and no polarization time is required. The filling fluid and the induction membrane can be replaced, and the maintenance cost is low; the signal transfer board has the characteristics of wide working voltage, convenient wiring, plug and play, etc., and can be easily connected to an existing control system.


This product is easy to use, has strong compatibility, open source code, and detailed supporting materials. It can be quickly applied to the required scenes and keep the "source of life" for your aquatic life!

Precautions:


1. Before using a new dissolved oxygen electrode, the membrane cap located on the electrode head needs to add 0.5mol / L sodium hydroxide solution as the electrode filling liquid (domestic customers, default delivery, if you need to configure it yourself, please see the VKU FAQ- Q4). This solution is highly alkaline, please wear waterproof gloves before operation. If accidentally dripped onto the skin, please rinse with plenty of water.


2. The transparent oxygen permeable membrane on the membrane cap is a sensitive element. Please take care to protect it from touching with nails or other sharp objects.


3. The dissolved oxygen electrode needs oxygen during the measurement process, so when measuring, you need to stir the liquid gently so that the dissolved oxygen is evenly distributed in the liquid. But do not stir vigorously to prevent the oxygen in the air from quickly dissolving into the liquid!
