1 . 4241, 6542, M35 are all high-speed steel (HSS).
2 . 4241 material is used for opening holes in wood, plastic, thin iron plates, and thin aluminum plates.
3 . 6542 material is used for the opening of iron plates, steel plates, etc.
4 . M35 material can be used to open holes in high hardness materials such as iron plates, steel plates, and stainless steel sheets.
Tip:
M35 material must be selected for drilling stainless steel. If it is 4241, it is easy to scrap. Workpiece thickness should be under 5 mm! When drilling steel plates, pay attention to cooling with water. The high-temperature smoke life of the drill will be greatly reduced during use.
